Witness
Ministry Teams:
• W.O.N. in Christ – Witness Outreach Nurture(W.O.N.) in Christ (Church council)
• SPPR – Staff Pastor Parish Relations (Human resources)
• Finance – Responsible for raising the funds
• Trustee – Responsible for the real estate
• Nominations & Lay Leadership – Responsible to train and propose church leadership
• Foundation - Responsible to manage and grow our endowment
• Memorial – Responsible to manage gifts given in someone's honor or memory for enhancement of the church
• Evangelism – Lead the church to Make Disciples of All
• Missions – Reach out beyond ourselves to make a difference
• Worship – Work with the pastor to create passionate worship
• Stewardship – Encourages Extravagant Generosity
• Communications – Keeps us before the public and our members
• Care – Minister to our members who are homebound or in nursing homes
• Scholarship – Endowment to create higher education scholarships
• Education – Responsible for all the Christian education at UCUMC
• Campus – Create a UCUMC presence on San Antonio Campuses
• Phase One Building – Responsible for studying the feasibility of the Phase One building of church facilities upgrading

Other:
• Adult Choir – This is our sanctuary choir for the traditional and blended services
• Adult Bell Choir – Adults who enjoy playing together
• Grace Notes – Provides music and worship within the Southwest Texas Conference and South Central Texas area
• Praise Team/Band – Group that makes worship, well “worship” at the Contemporary Service
• Love Notes Music Ministry – Christian women joined together by our love of music in praise of God
• Kitchen – Group of people who support the “eating habits” of the people of UCUMC
• Media – This is a group supporting the audio/visual experiences in worship and the announcements in the fellowship hall
• Communion Steward – Assist in offering sacraments to the congregation
• Lay Reader – Assist in reading parts of the service
Outreach and Nurture
Missions:
• Angel Food – This ministry provides high quality food at an inexpensive price for all people
• Christian Car Club – A men’s group for “car talk” and for helping others maintain their vehicles
• GRASP – Greater Randolph Area Services Program. Provides a wide variety of help to all our neighbors
• Habitat for Humanity – Creates nice homes for people who cannot afford it otherwise
• Missionaries – Support many missions and ministries both local and globally
• RACAP – Randolph Area Christian Assistance Program: Need food, rent assistance, etc.
• Recycled Card – People who fellowship while recycling greeting cards for all occasions. Funds donated to Mission Projects
• Shoebox – Provides toiletries and essentials for our homeless
Nurture:
• Boy Scouts – Local Boy Scout troop
• Children’s Music – Provides Christian Music Education, instrumental and vocal to our young people
• Chrysalis – Chrysalis is a spiritual growth experience for youth of any Christian denomination
• Companions in Christ – Inspiring spiritual growth program that provides paths for each of us to grow closer to God
• Dinner & a Movie – Free dinner and movie the last Friday of the month at 6 p.m. Open to all
• Emmaus – People who have experienced a Walk to Emmaus and who support church leadership and foster participation on a walk
• Hug Me Pilliow – Program to make pillows for surgical patients to hold against their body to help with the pain of coughing
• Kairos – Prison ministry responsible for lowering recidivism among inmates and their conversion to Christianity
• The Kids Closet – Program will service local elementary schools by providing quality clothing for children in need
• Library – Library has over 4000 secular and non-secular items
• Live Nativity – Ever wondered what the birth of Jesus looked like? Come and see
• Meals on Wheels – Food for homebound
• Nativity Story – Nativity Story depicting the story of Jesus’ birth is held on the church grounds on several different evenings each December
• Preschool/KDO – The BEST PRESCHOOL in Texas! So says our accreditation agency. Always in need of helpers and scholarship funds
• Running for Christ – A group of people who find getting in shape and ministry to be a great opportunity for support
• Wednesday Night Supper – Supper and fellowship are available on Wednesdays during the school year
• Woman at the Well House – Help for women transitioning out of prison

• Homerooms – Fellowship and discussion about events and needs of the church
• UMM – Group of men with a mission to support many ministries for men
• UMW – The women of UCUMC meet to grow disciples and support missions
• TAG – The Ageless Group. Fellowship for people 50 years or more.
• Singles – Group for singles, widows, and divorcees. Food, fun, discussion, and information
• Ladies Fun Bunch – A group of single women who enjoy having fun and raising funds to assist other women without husbands
