Ladies Fun Bunch

 School begins the end of August. Remember our little ones next door at the Rose Garden School. The first days are trau-matic for children, and accidents can happen. Let’s make sure they have plenty of back-up underwear. Because of finances, some children are sent to school without socks, and their feet get blisters. Millie Watson, cares for these children, and knows which ones can benefit most from our donations. Let’s make sure she has plenty of supplies to begin this year. The most needed are sizes 6 to 8. There is a container in FH for your donations.

 We have made plans for some future fun times, and if you are a single woman and would like to join us, you can con-tact, Joy DeKock, Faye McCullum, or Marlene Davis.

August 18, Wednesday: Overnight Casino Bus Trip to Coushatta Casino. $33.00 includes bus, hotel, and $23.00 in perks. Bus leaves 9:45 am from Converse. Reservations needed soon!
September 11, Saturday: Pizza and pool party at the home of Faye McCullum. More information to come.
October 9, Saturday: Austin Stream Train Trip. Ride 66 miles round-trip from Cedar Park to Burnet through the Texas Hill country. Lunch and shopping in Burnet. Price $30.00. Reservations needed.
November 20, Saturday: Cookie and gift exchange.
December 4, Saturday: Christmas get-together. Possible “Nutcracker Review” in Seguin, TX
