In Case You Were Wondering: A Word from Your Mission Ministry Team

At our meeting in January, some of us on the team questioned having a Mission Moment every month. Were we asking for too much from our congregation? Our chairman, Mark Mueller, gave us the thinking behind the Mission Moment. That is: we don't expect everyone to give every month. We en-courage people to select the mission ministries that they want to support. Our intention is to focus on different missions, and to give enough information on each to help people to choose. The team is now giving you this information the last Sunday of the month for the coming month.Methodist Mission Home

Through Methodist Mission Home (MMH) Adoption Services programs, pregnant teens, young women and families considering adoption receive professional counseling and compassionate support in making mutually beneficial decisions. Through the MMH Southwest Center for Higher Independence, a transitional education program including life skills and vocational training, young adults and those who are deaf develop confidence and competence to reach their personal level of independence.
